373rd "Winged Viper" Cluster are Smoke Adders competitively focused members.

To be invited for CONSIDERATION in joining the 373rd, Smoke Adders in good standing must demonstrate the following:

  • Tier 1
  • earned and maintain a 1.5 KDR, and 0.75 KPM in practice sessions
  • maintain a positive KDR/KPM via global leaderboard
  • attend a minimum of 2 weekly practice session for comp-8/12 (barring declared leaves of absence)
  • have a Matchscore average over 200 on the global leaderboard
  • have a Matchscore average over 230 in practices
  • Must be Blooded

Upon selection for consideration, the pilot will continue their work with the 502nd/505th, with an expectation they are attending practices, working on movement, forming the concave arc around opponents and playing SELFLESSLY for the betterment of the team.

Final selection for the 373rd will be by vote internal to that Cluster - those non-select, will be given a brief laydown on where they could improve to earn a position within the Cluster and can re-attempt after a 30 day cooling down period. Tryouts are held once per major event season and the Cluster is typically limited to 12 pilots to allow folks an opportunity to drop regularly in competitive play.

Final selection for the 173rd, much like the 373rd will be by vote internal to that Cluster (after the initial seeding) - those non-selects, will be given a brief laydown on where they could improve to earn a position within the Cluster and can re-attempt after a 30 day cooling down period. Tryouts are held once per major event season and the Cluster is typically limited to 12 pilots to allow folks an opportunity to drop regularly in competitive play.

The 505th Assault Cluster are Smoke Adders pilots that are recognized for their talent, competitive interests and effort. Pilots in this cluster are eligible for competitive match play on a Smoke Adder team (MRBC, RHOD, MWOWC etc).

Silent Death membership is by invitation only from within our ranks, although pilots can apply for the opportunity. To earn consideration for this Cluster, a 502nd pilot must demonstrate the following:

  • specifically volunteer for the role in this Cluster
  • be a Blooded Warrior
  • earn and maintain a positive KDR/KPM during competitive practice sessions
  • be willing to run designated builds for competitive practices (not a requirement in other public queue matches)
  • Attend a minimum of 1 weekly practice session for comp-8/12 (barring declared leaves of absence)

While there is no limit to membership within this Cluster, during league/tournament play there may be roster limits imposed upon the team that limit who can participate. In which case tryouts/metric will determine starter positions or a second element will be formed specific to that competition.

The 502nd "Strike" Dragoons are Smoke Adders pilots that are casual or can not commit a significant amount of time to competitive play.

Dragoons earn their position by successfully competing in their Trial of Position as a Snake.

The sibko is where new applicants reside. This is a probationary status and shows that a pilot has not yet been voted into the unit. As this is the most important step to membership, Blooded and regular members are encouraged to keep an eye on new players to get to know them and see how they fit in with the team.
